March 6th is Dress in Blue Day for Colon Cancer Awareness

Get Blued! For Colon Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know colon cancer is the second leading cause of overall cancer deaths in the United States? But it doesn’t have to stay this way. Early detection through screening can dramatically reduce your risk. This means having your colon checked regularly starting at age 50, or sooner if you are at higher risk.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month and Friday, March 6 is National Dress in Blue Day. Help slash these stats by joining the Colon Cancer Alliance’s Dress in Blue Day movement. Through this national campaign and their screening, research and patient support initiatives, we can knock colon cancer out of the top three cancer killers for good.

Visit www.ccalliance.org to learn more about colon cancer and how you can get involved. And don’t forget, screening saves!

Razor Sharp will be participating on March 6th, and encourage YOU to Dress in Blue, too. We'll be making information available and encouraging you to post pictures of yourself in your blue, along with your commitment to get screened!

A Brief Tutorial on Facebook Image Tagging

Ahhhh, the Interwebz, that astonishing universe of bytes and pixels and memes and cat videos...

It's weird. And fun. Did we mention, "weird?" We're trying to be one of the least weird things out there, but sometimes, the platforms in question don't cooperate so well.

Case in point: we want to run some fun games that involve people tagging us in their Facebook photos of themselves (under specific legit circumstances, of course). But what seems intuitive isn't always! In order to enter people into drawings for prizes, we have to be able to see the entries. And when tagged in certain ways that appear to be logical, we can't (say, in the Location field).  #FacebookFail

So, here's what DOES work:

This will then appear where we can be sure to count it on our page.

Thanks for playing along!
